Many years ago a friend gave me a book called "The PH Miracle" it really opened my eyes to wanting to become more alkaline. It has been a process to becoming and eating a 80-100% raw diet. The thought of becoming raw just was not my idea of fun but because of my passion for health and wanting to feel better with my fibromyalgia, I have chosen a different way of eating and even still cook and love to cook vegan for my husband and the children. I'm very thankful that I have been able to make the needed changes to help me feel better and not be a burden. A alkaline diet gives you the power to : 1. Experience so much more energy. 2. Cure digestive disorders, acid reflux, heartburn. 3. Balance your acid alkaline level. In an alkaline environment your tissues get rid of impurities more efficiently. | |
Of course, everybody is different - but most of us should aim to eat 75-80% alkaline foods and a maximum of 20-25% acid forming foods. |
