RAW Mexican Fiesta Soup

If anybody knows me for any time they will find out that I LOVE vegan Mexican and Thai Food! Anything with that spicy flare. I warmed my vegan raw soup in the dehydrator about an hour before I wanted to eat it. AMAZING! Another healthy vegan recipe!
This has cilantro which is great for heavy metal detoxification.
Cilantro stimulates the body's release of mercury and other heavy metals from the body. So, I use cilantro as much as possible and love it.

RAW Mexican Fiesta Soup
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 large red bell peppers, chopped
1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, packed
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, packed
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tbsp jalapeno
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp lime juice
2-3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp real salt
3/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp paprika
1 clove garlic (cut in half and take out vein)
dash of cayenne (opt)
Blend in blender. You can put your bowls in your dehydrator for a few hours to warm up before you top with your favorite toppings.

Optional toppings: tomato, avocado, onion, corn, shredded cabbage, dash of oregano

I tried Ani's raw burgers from her raw recipe book. I plan on doing some changes but they were good. My husband even added them to his meal. It made quite a few so I'll have leftovers for a while!
These are "Quick and Easy" to throw together to put on dehydrator. I think it only took about 15 minutes and I had them on the dehydrator.

My version of Raw Oatmeal

Every morning we make oatmeal for my husband and the children. I used to join them eating this every morning but it's been about 2 years since I've had oatmeal. I've posted this healthy delight a while back and just had to post it again. So while my family ate their oatmeal I was eating my yummy raw vegan breakfast cereal!! MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST!!!!

Just take a nice apple, I used a Fuji and chop it up and throw it in the food processor. Now if you don't have a food processor just grate your apple and it will be great! Add a few tablespoons of raw almond butter. Process until chopped up pretty good but don't puree it. Then in a coffee grinder I took about 2 tablespoons golden flax seeds and grind them. Add apple mixture to bowl and mix in flax seed meal. All I can say is YUM!!!
Could add nuts or raisins for a added treat. I just wondered how this would be if you warmed it up in your dehydrator. mmmmmmm warm faux vegan raw oatmeal.

Ani's Raw Food Kitchen

I have been waiting for this cookbook to get here. It snowed a lot last night and I saw the snow plow go by earlier but didn't think anything about it. I decided to condition my hair and the power went out with a shower cap on my hair and no shower. It was off for about 3 hours. Finally it came back on and I was able to get to the shower. Now, I'm ready to go check the mail. As, I'm going out there I notice my mail box is gone and I can see it because of the snow. I get to it, it's laying on the ground with a box hooked to the flag in a plastic bag. I thought it was my daughter's book I just ordered her by the weight of the box. I got in the house and opened the box and YAH, it's Ani Phyo's book!!! I can not wait to start trying her recipes. Right on the front of the book is a comment by "Howard Lyman", I have been to several health crusades where he spoke and he has a excellent testimony! He's the "Mad Cowboy" cattle rancher gone vegan, vegetarian!
I'll keep you all posted!
