A Hike and Picnic in Glacier National Park

On September 3, 2011 we visited Many Glaciers Hotel  in Glacier National Park.
Here were driving along the St. Mary River headng to Many Glacier.
Entering the northeastern entrance to Glacier National Park.
A reminder that we are in "Bear Country!"

Time for a wonderful picnic. We hiked the popular Hidden Lake Trail earlier and worked up a appetite!
On the picnic menu:
Vegan Black Bean Burgers on Whole Wheat Buns
 Vegan Potato Salad
 Tortilla Chips and  Homemade Salsa
Raw Curry Wraps with Hummus
Garden fresh lemon cucumbers, celery and tomatoes
  Raw Chia Pudding for dessert!

Now heading back to Logan Pass to get back home to Kalispell. Another great day in Glacier National Park.
Here is a photo of the Raw Spicy Curry Wraps leftover a day later and so very good!
These Raw Curry Wraps bend just like a tortilla and taste great. A blend of golden flax seeds and coconut with some curry spices. They are great because they are pliable and make great tortillas. Fast and easy to whip up and dehydrate for about 4-5 hours then store in refrigerator for several days.
